School Educational Visits

In 2012 we look forward to welcoming you the ‘The Final Season’ of our unique award winning park for a fun and educational experience you will never forget.

We offer visits which are tailored to suit the age and ability of your children. While the younger age group may just wish to visit the park and enjoy the excellent facilities and animals.

The Butterfly and Wildlife Park is a unique resource for schools, we provide a chance for children to experience and learn in a hands-on and memorable way.

We offer sessions, as part of your trip to the park, that are tailored to the requirements of the National Curriculum.

KS1 Fur, Feathers and Scales or Minibeasts.

KS2 Life in Extremes or Life Cycle.

KS3 & 4 Adaption and Evolution, Poisons and Pesticides or Energy and the Environment.

All schools will receive a FREE, age appropriate Education pack.

Whether the children explore the lifespan of a butterfly in our tropical garden, look in wonder at the different birds of prey, or simply appreciate the diversity of life as varied as stick insects to buffalo, they are all here at the Butterfly and Wildlife Park.

Our young visitors will be able to enjoy our extensive adventure play area, and delight in catching a glimpse of the many wild birds, insects and small mammals that inhabit our orchard.

Enjoy our tea room facilities or alternately retreat to an indoor picnic area, which is close by the Giant Rabbits and the outdoor bee and butterfly garden.

We look forward to seeing you at the Park.
