welcome
Visit the Butterfly and Wildlife Park, Lincolnshire’s premier park, and enjoy all the facilities at your leisure.
tropical gardens
The Tropical Gardens is one of the largest in the UK.
You may stroll around the Tropical Gardens and enjoy all those butterflies and birds against a background of colourful flowering trees and lush vegetation, there to create a home to all those other exotic animals who share the house. If you dare step into the Insectarium you will observe all those creepy crawlies you love to hate.
At the same time discover different reptiles on your walk round including snakes, Lizards, terrapins iguanas and our latest arrivals this year; a Royal Python and Moja, and African White-Throated Monitor Lizard.
Our ants have also escaped from their own little room, and now have the run of the entire gardens. Fortunately, they have their own trapeze rope which runs throughout the gardens on which they live!
Tropical Bird Aviary
Built in 2008, the Tropical Bird Aviary houses some unusual soft billed exotic birds including Waswings, Whydahs and Weaverbirds. Watch their plumage change each visit you make since they change with the seasons in order to attract and display to the females.
meet our wildlife & animals
Make the acquaintance of all the friendly animals as you walk around the beautifully kept grounds. See the Raccoons, Pygmy Goats, Pot Bellied and Curly-Coated Pigs and much more.
Also, do not forget to see our famous Birds of Prey Flying Displays daily at 12 noon and 3pm. (2pm only from September 7th – November 1st).
